The Clear Heads Club

The Clear Heads Club is a space where you can listen to the raw stories of journeys sobriety – the good bits yes, but also the messy and chaotic times too.

In its inaugural event at Patch, in Bournemouth town centre on Wednesday, the Clear Heads Club (CHC) was set up by Dan Ware.

Dan, 41, who owns innovation group The Spark, said: “This wasn’t about attacking alcohol. This was just my story.”

Cate Murden and Simon H-C also shared their own unique and deeply raw histories with alcohol.

Cate, 48, Founder of Push, said: “I have been sober now for four years and the life I have today, is incomparable with the life I had back then.”

Cate told her journey with the AA programme and stressed the importance around breaking the stigma on talking about alcoholism.
