How can we support our local food community so that it, in turn, nourishes the BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole) community- both in terms of health and economy?
This inspiring and down-to-earth gathering is all about exploring practical ways to ensure that good food is accessible, sustainable, and beneficial for all. We’re not here for an academic debate; we’re here to bring together real people- parents, food lovers, local producers, farmers, chefs, and nutritionists who care about what they eat and where it comes from.
In collaboration with Claire King, a respected nutrition expert with decades of experience in education, we’ll be hosting a lively and engaging panel discussion featuring local food producers, chefs, nutrition specialists and many other interesting guests
Together, we’ll explore:
• How local food systems can better serve families and schools
• The role of small producers in supporting a healthier community
• Ways to make nutritious, local food more accessible and affordable
• How food connects us all- socially, culturally, sustainably, and economically
This is a chance to be part of an exciting, growing conversation. Whether you’re a parent, a food business owner, a chef, or simply someone who cares about where their food comes from, this event is for you.
Come along, be inspired, and help shape a thriving local food movement that benefits us all, in partnership with The Spark.
